Get accessories for your truck in this DLC
Euro Truck Simulator 2 – HS-Schoch Tuning Pack is an expansion pack of the popular truck simulation video game, Euro Truck Simulator 2. Developed by SCS Software, this extra downloadable content adds new accessories from HS-Schoch for specific truck models. Like other DLCs, you will be needing the base game in order to play this. However, unlike the other extra content for this game, the HS-Schoch Tuning Pack doesn’t really have a lot to offer for its price.
Personalize your truck
Euro Truck Simulator 2—commonly known as ETS 2—is a truck simulator video game that allows you to drive an articulated truck across Europe in order to pick up cargo and deliver it. It is the sequel to Euro Truck Simulator and is the second title in the Truck Simulator series. It has mostly similar gameplay to the first game but adds new content, such as new truck companies you can buy vehicles from.
Speaking of companies, the well-known truck company HS-Schoch joins the lineup in the HS-Schoch Tuning Pack. The DLC adds many new accessories from the brand, such as light bars, bump bars, sidebars, side steps, and roof bars, among others. These accessories are for the truck brands in the game: DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, Scania, and Volvo. Note that some models won’t have any accessories from this DLC.
Unfortunately, while the DLC is as graphically gorgeous as the rest of the game and other content packs, it doesn’t actually add much that makes it worth the price tag. While it’s true that HS-Schoch Tuning Pack offers a lot of cool accessories that are understated but highly necessary for customization, the amount you get and even the fact that only certain models can have them are quite limiting.
Sadly limited
Overall, Euro Truck Simulator 2 – HS-Schoch Tuning Pack is no doubt a neat DLC for fans who want a complete experience of Euro Truck Simulator 2. However, its limited customization options for all trucks available make the DLC look lacking when compared to other DLC packs. It doesn’t seem to justify the price and it doesn’t allow more configuration options such as taking off certain accessories without influencing other parts.
