A quick way to remove your photo’s background
Erase Background: Remover BG is a free multimedia app that, as the name suggests, allows you to remove the background from a photo with ease. This photo editor from Arcade Legendary also lets users replace the removed background with a different photo, a solid color, or a funky pattern.
With Erase Background: Remover BG, users can simply click on a single button and automatically remove the background. However, this means that you cannot choose which aspects of the image’s background you want to keep. Alternatively, you can try out Cut Cut Cut Photo Background Editor instead.
What does it offer?
With a sleek and simple interface, Erase Background: Remover BG provides users with a convenient platform to give their photos a completely new look. As mentioned before, the process is pretty simple: just upload the image you want to alter and watch the magic happen. Keep in mind, though, that there’s no option to only remove certain parts of the background or cut out the subject yourself.
Unfortunately, this photo editing tool lacks a number of other functionalities, as well. There’s a noticeable absence of basic editing tools, such as the ability to crop, rotate, alter brightness and saturation, as well as sharpen the image. This forces you to make use of other editing apps before you import your desired image into the app just to make sure it fits your idea of your desired output.
In addition to this, the app also features a large amount of obstructive ads that get in the way of user experience. Simply clicking on a button or applying a new change to your image prompts a new ad to appear. Many of these are also quite difficult to close, given that they have no exit button or the button will be placed in an obscure part of your screen.
There are other better options
Overall, Erase Background: Remover BG doesn’t really offer much to users other than a simple way to separate your photo’s subject from their background. With a lack of basic editing tools and a large number of pop-ups that appear with every single action made in the app, it’s quite difficult to actually make use of this photo editor for its intended purpose.
