Enhanced Smithing is a mod for the crafting mechanics in Bannerlord. It is a collection of QOL tweaks for the smithing mechanics in the game.

As a player, you can customize the settings for each of the different weapon types and the way you craft them. You can also add the maximum amount of each type to your inventory, as well as the maximum number of smiths and the maximum amount of profit you can get from a single weapon smith.

Enhanced Smithing includes a part research system where every time a weapon of a type is smithed or smelted, you gain “research points” towards that weapon type. The more it is researched, the more new parts it can unlock. There is a maximum number of research points you can get for each type of weapon.
