In the original Elden Ring, you can invite or invade other players in either PvP or co-op gameplay depending on the use of different items. However, this is generally restricted to a small region in the overworld map, a dungeon, or a boss stage only. However, the Elden Ring Seamless Co-Op Mod lets you play the game without restrictions on the map. It makes the notoriously hard game much easier.

Another advantage of using this mod is that players can stay on the same multiplayer game and play separately if they wish. It allows players to play independently and return to visit their co-players whenever they want. However, the Stakes of Marika, which serves as a checkpoint aside from Grace Sites, are disabled for the duration of the mod since it causes connection problems.

Additionally, as a mod that interferes with the original network, the rest of the original multiplayer functions are disabled. Aside from your teammates in the open co-op mode, you can’t summon additional players or open your game to invasions from other players.
