Free, full-featured password manager

Even if you’re a newcomer to computing, I’m sure you already know how bad the use-the-same-password-everywhere practice is. And if a poor memory is your excuse not to use different passwords, here’s the remedy.

Efficient Password Manager is, as its name suggests, a handy management tool in which you can safely store all the passwords you use on different apps and services: email accounts, FTP servers, favorite websites and more. This list of passwords is conveniently protected by a master password – the one you’ll actually have to remember, otherwise you’re doomed.

Efficient Password Manager features all the things you expect from this kind of program: you can categorize your database in custom groups and subgroups, back it up and restore it at any time, and export it to HTML or CSV files, among other options. What makes this program stand out over other similar tools is the fact that it includes special areas for FTP servers, email accounts and software serial numbers, enabling a deeper compatibility in these three areas. It doesn’t feature hotkeys to copy and paste the data though.

Efficient Password Manager includes also a password generator and supports the use of skins to customize its appearance.

Do you have trouble remembering all your passwords? Stop using the same combination for everything and use Efficient Password Manager instead.
