Find your nearest WiFi spot

If you’re in a hurry, finding a decent WiFi spot can be a nightmare, especially one that’s stable that your Mac will remain connected to. Help is at hand however with Easy WiFi.

Easy WiFi is designed to help you locate and stay attached to WiFi spots. It’s a simple application that sits in your menu bar and locks down on the best WiFi spot according to signal strength. When it detects a signal, Easy WiFi will ask you for permission to use the network and lock down on it.

The basic application is free but if you sign-up for a premium account, you can share multiple devices, network with friends and view your connection history. However, Easy WiFi is very poorly documented. The developer website contains barely any information about the app and there’s no user manual or help section. There’s also very little explanation as to what the various options do such as the Settings which when clicked on, doesn’t seem to go anywhere.

Easy WiFi doesn’t really feel like a finished application but it could be useful if you’re having problems locking down onto a WiFi spot.
