Fast and easy USB boot drive creator for PC

Easy USB Creator Lite is a free utility program for PC that was developed by NeoSmart Technologies. With it, users will be able to easily create USB bootable drives from ISO files. It also supports Windows DVD installers and can extract and transfer their content to USB flash storage devices.

Similar to Rufus or Easy2Boot, Easy USB Creator Lite makes it easy for any type of user to be able to create working bootable USB drives that contain installers for the Windows desktop operating system. It supports multiple iterations of the OS and will work regardless of the version used.

How does it work exactly?

When you first open up Easy USB Creator Lite, it will present a simple and compact user interface that is easy to understand and will let you get started right away. The first option is for selecting an ISO file to be used in creating a bootable drive. Meanwhile, the second is for selecting a specific destination (USB drive) where all the files will be copied to.

Once you’ve set those two parameters, you can start by clicking on the Create USB button on the lower-right side of the window. A progress bar will appear on the lower-left side to let you know how far along the process the utility is at. If in case you made a mistake or you change your mind, you can stop the creation by selecting Abort and start again.

What’s more, Easy USB Creator Lite also has a feature that will let you reverse the whole process and create an ISO file that contains a Windows installation instead if you want. However, this specific option is not available in the free version and the tool will require you to purchase a license first to take advantage of this option.

No-frills and straightforward

If you need a simple tool to help you create bootable USB drives for Windows, Easy USB Creator Lite is as easy(pun intended) as it gets for you. It’s fast, lightweight, and straightforward to use. While the option to create an ISO file will require purchasing a license, the free version will suffice for most users. Recommended.
