Form a Party and Cut Through Dungeons… Easily.
Dungeon Witcher is an ‘idle’ RPG, a sub-genre of other RPGs going back to the 1980s, where they were played in chatrooms. You build a team of adventurers of all sorts, and they power up and quest in the background. When you actually play, you can explore dungeons yourself or fight other players!
Side with the Light, Fight the Dark
Despite the name ‘Dungeon Witcher’ giving the image of a darker sort of fantasy title, inspired by the Dark Ages where witches were hunted, the game is pretty plain in terms of setting. You’ll find elves in revealing outfits, powerful sorceresses and mighty warriors, bright plains and dark dungeons. The art is fairly good but overall, the presentation is nothing to write home about. The gameplay, however, is just as smooth as promised: you manage a team or teams of adventurers, check in occasionally, and get all of the exploration of an RPG done with none of the difficulty.
Massive, Multiplayer, Maybe
The other thing is that Dungeon Witcher calls itself an MMO but, in practice, there aren’t that many players. When you do find some, they’ll often be much stronger than you especially at first. Add to that the game’s ‘idle’ aspect, and player interaction is fairly small. It’s best to look at Dungeon Witcher as a low-maintenance, single player mobile RPG, and in that respect, it does fairly well.
