An oil tycoon business sim for PC
Drill Deal – Oil Tycoon is a premium simulation game for PC made by A2 Softworks. In this business management title, players will be taking on the role of an oil tycoon as they strive to build a thriving and profitable empire, from humble beginnings to success.
Similar to Zoo Tycoon 2 or RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, Drill Deal – Oil Tycoon offers players a well-rounded and immersive business management experience. It also comes with a demo version that provides them a chance to try out the gameplay first before they decide on purchasing the full game.
In the oil business
Drill Deal – Oil Tycoon is basically a game wherein you set out to build an oil mining rig of your own and create a business out of it. You’ll start off with just a basic platform to work with. As you slowly progress though, you get to learn the ropes and come up with various strategies to optimize processes that make production more efficient and cost less.
Once you have everything up and running, you need to land your first contract to start getting a return on your investment and sell what you’ve produced. Build connections, expand your network, and conquer new markets as you establish a reputation as one of the premier suppliers in the world. Take part of your revenue, and re-invest it into acquiring better equipment and making upgrades to your mining rigs.
You will also have to pay close attention to the employees that you choose to hire as you play Drill Deal – Oil Tycoon. Make sure to hire skilled workers and take care of their needs and morale as you create a healthy working environment for them. A couple of things worth mentioning is the AI is still quite buggy and the game would randomly crash on occasion.
A well-oiled machine
Overall, Drill Deal – Oil Tycoon doesn’t do anything revolutionary as far as gameplay and unique features are concerned. It does offer a decent gaming experience for those who are fans of the genre and are looking for a new business management game to try out. It’s far from perfect given some of its glaring issues, but hopefully, those things get addressed and fixed soon rather than later.
