Free museum mod
Doom II: National Videogame Museum Mod was created by independent developer, DevHour Games. It allows you to run across the National Videogame Museum. The 1:1 recreation of the Frisco, Texas is the ‘newest’ location for the Doom II: Hell on Earth. The museum is dealing with a demon infestation and they need your help. As Doom Marine, you will take down the monsters that are terrorizing the museum.

With a shotgun in hand, you will need to help the National Videogame Museum protect their valuables. The location features all the exhibits but has the familiar Doom aberrations. It includes the main museum map, two secret maps, and various game modes. The tourism mode allows you to take a stroll in the digitized version of the museum without the threat of demons. It also comes with three difficulty levels similar to that in Doom II.
The mod is a perfect fit for the default settings of the first-person shooter game, but can also support a version with mods like Free Look and Jump. This mod offers the same default format of package files as the first Doom game; Doom: Where’s All the Data is the game’s exclusive format file. It adds sprites, levels, and game data to enhance your gaming experience. This mod does just that.
Created by the tour guide of the real Videogame Museum and owner of DevHour Games, the mod offers an engaging experience for videogame fans. It also offers its own take on the game’s storyline. Using Doom Marine’s weapons, you will need to find the cyber demons that are wreaking havoc and kill them. It will take three to four direct hits if you’re afar, or two point-blank shots. You could also use a rocket launcher, but it will take 45 well-placed hits for them to back down.
An action-packed museum tour
The National Videogame Museum Mod for Doom II is a unique way to experience the game; you’re playing a game where the setting is also related to video games. In addition, the environment is a replica of a real place so it is a fun and action packed way to see the sights.
