Free Indian music streaming app

When it comes to music streaming, Spotify probably takes the top spot. With thousands of songs in its catalog, you can probably find any song from any genre you want. However, while it may have the song you want to listen to, searching for particular music or artist can be hard, especially if it is not globally popular. DJJOhAL is a multimedia app that is dedicated to Indian songs. With the app, you can listen to your favorite Punjabi, Hindi, and Bollywood music.

Your Indian music fix

DJJOhAL is very much like Spotify in terms of app design. On the homepage, you can see the list of trending songs, as well as your recently played list. At the bottom of the screen, you can see the button for the recent songs you played, music categories, and the latest addition to the catalog. Using the dropdown menu, you can browse through albums, artists, and curated playlists. The app also has suggested songs based on your researches. Speaking of research, there is also a search bar on top of the homepage, which allows you to type the song, album, or artist.

DJJOhAL also allows you to create a playlist of your favorite songs. You can play your selection in a loop or in a shuffle, just like in Spotify. In addition to listening to music, users can also rate the songs. You can see the ratings as the song plays. On top of that, you can also share the song you are listening to your social media accounts. You can even download the song to listen to it offline.

However, since this online music service is dedicated only to Indian music, you will find that the catalog is very much limited. More so, the app does not update its catalog constantly, even though its website has daily updates. Users will also find that that the download feature sometimes does not work. The app also stops mid-song, even with a stable internet connection.

Limited and unreliable

DJJOhAL is an app for Indian music lovers—because that’s all the app offers. It offers a neat selection of songs from various Indian music artists and even Bollywood movies. The app also has a familiar interface, so navigating will be easy. However, in addition to limited music offerings, the app is very unreliable. It is very laggy, and some of its features sometimes do not work. All in all, it needs improvement to give online music providers a run for their money.
