Edit your own party tracks for free
DJ Mixer Player Mobile is a free multimedia app that allows you to mix tracks and edit audio to create your own unique tracks. This program from MLD Creative also features tools to help you adjust the pitch and volume of the effects and your chosen audio files.
DJ Mixer Player Mobile can be seen as a much simpler version of BandLab, which features more advanced tools and the capability to make use of royalty-free audios found within the app. This app, meanwhile, focuses on simpler tools and requires you to upload the two songs you want to mix yourself.
Very basic features
For beginners, DJ Mixer Player Mobile is a great tool for creating simple tracks that blend two of your favorite songs together. The interface displays two separate turntables dedicated to the tracks plan on using. Since these are separated into two sections, you can edit each audio file individually without accidentally messing with the other one and ruining all your progress.
Unfortunately, however, the lack of labels for the different buttons and controls makes it difficult to figure out what each one does unless you play around with it yourself. You also can’t record audio from within the app if you want to add your own voice or instruments. There’s also no way to save your final output or even half of your progress for you to go back to later.
Navigating the app is also quite difficult with the incessant amount of ads. Each click of a button brings up a new advertisement, which makes it quite frustrating to use. There are no issues with a few ads, but the large number of obtrusive pop-ups become counterproductive and hinder you from finishing whatever project you have to work on at the time.
Confusing layout with intrusive ads
Overall while DJ Mixer Player Mobile can be a good start for new editors to begin learning how to mix tracks, there’s not much else the app offers. With limited features that don’t even allow you to save your progress and ads that reappear every time you make an adjustment, it becomes difficult to make use of the app to its full potential.
