All your notes in one place

DEVONnote could be seen as a hybrid between a browser and note taker. The application allows you to copy and organize notes into folders. You can enter rich text, add hyperlinks and highlight sentences. We liked how DEVONnote lets you replicate and duplicate your notes and that you can access them from the left side explorer. The program also features an integrated browser to visit the links you’ve saved. You can also make backups of your notes so they never get lost.

Despite its set of options, DEVONnote left us rather disappointed. We didn’t find it very intuitive and organizing your notes felt like a complicated process. We were also confused by the ultimate role of the application. Can it be considered a browser? Is it a sort of advanced note taker? Unfortunately, DEVONnote feels more like an unsuccessful patchwork of both. Let’s hope future versions will feel more intuitive.

Comes with a number of important bug fixes, e.g. for the Sorter and the Clip to DEVONthink panel. In addition, the DEVONthink To Go conduit handles packaged file formats, e.g. iWork, much more reliable.
