D_back is a power backup software with a lot of features designed to automate backing up files of any computer to any type of storage media including CD/DVD and remote FTP servers.

Data Sources

The program can back up files from any accessible device or network resources mapped with drive letter (UNC is supported).

Moreover D_back allows you to backup from remote FTP or WebDAV servers.

Saving Backups

Your backups will be saved to any type of storage media: HDD, network drives, CD or DVD, USB Flash, Iomega Zip / Jazz drives.

You can backup to remote FTP, or you can transfer backups via e-mail.

Scheduling of backing up

The software distribution kit includes backup scheduler and command-line backup utility.

These tools allows you to set up automatic execution of backup jobs on both personal computers and server systems.

Data compression

As a rule D_back creates backup in a single compressed file or as a set of files in standard Zip format.

PKZip’s Zip64 support is implemented, so you can create backups larger than 4Gb. Moreover you can back up without the compression or you can plug in the program any external file compressor with the command-line interface.

Backup types

You can always choose the most suitable backup strategy from built-in backup types (Full, Stack, Advanced Stack, Incremental, Differential).
