Quit porn and be free of it
Covenant Eyes is a screen accountability and monitoring service devoted in helping to combat pornography. It’s a worthwhile initiative to build a secure internet atmosphere at home. With Covenant Eyes, parents can track what their children see online, which, hopefully, contributes to important discussions about Internet use. Although it is intended to discourage children from viewing porn, the techniques have also proved useful in the fight against porn addiction.
Does Covenant Eyes work on iPhone?
Covenant Eyes focuses on an accountability-based service that is clean, stable, and ensures consumers can tackle porn addiction. It follows a four-step protocol for all users: screen tracking, screenshot analysis, screenshot preparation, and behavior monitoring. The first phase regularly captures on-screen activity and saves them to your device. In its advanced artificial intelligence, the computer analyzes these screenshots for explicit imagery. Both photographs are rated and blurred for your privacy.
Every screenshot is delivered via HTTPS and AES 256 encryption. Any related activity circumvented efforts, and any other unauthorized activity will be sent to you and to your Ally. Allies are your trusted friends or family members who will get a list of sites you access (including the ranking of each site). They are otherwise known as Accountability Partners, so it’s up to you to find a person you can trust with this information.
For iPhone or iPad users, note that Apple has guidelines for what apps can and cannot do on your device. One is that it cannot take screenshots within other apps. Thorough accountability for the whole device is provided by combining Screen Accountability within the Covenant Eyes app and domain monitoring across the rest of the device. You will need to disable Safari or any search engine on your phone, and instead, use Covenant Eyes’ in-app browser.
Keep your eyes and mind protected
Whether you’re a man or a woman, married or single, Covenant Eyes will help you (or someone you know) deter sexual material from appearing on the computer. When you pay for the service every month, you get to protect yourself with the software and with someone you trust. Being accountable to a friend or family member will discourage a spiral of porn abuse and is a worthwhile investment in the long run.
