Time for Cosmojis and girl talk!
Often the apps that catch our attention or earn a permanent place on our devices are the ones that make us smile. Cosmojis is no exception, written and made with a fun, light-hearted tone which makes it a pleasure to use. This app is an emoji app, as the name may suggest, but with a fun theme of cocktails and girl chat, curated by the folks at Cosmopolitan magazine. This iTunes app is totally free too, so you can add functionality to your phone at no cost.
Adding a touch of Cosmopolitan life to your phone
Cosmojis is pretty much exactly what it sounds like, an emoji app with a Cosmo magazine twist. The description says it all, with the phrase, ‘Raise your hand if you’ve ever felt personally victimized by the current emoji keyboard, which only has one wine option. (Are you raising your hand yet?!)’. They’re right, of course, because most default keyboards only have a few icons for any given theme, so there’s just a couple of feminine and city-life icons. This keyboard adds icons for a variety of modern themes, all of them fun and friendly. Now you can send your friends an icon of rose wine, sparkling white, or maybe some cheese fries! Send spilled wine for those shocking moments or a Netflix and Chill emoji to send out an invitation to someone special. The app also features animated gifs and stickers to cover your needs in various apps.
Fun, frisky and free!
This app is nothing new, it’s true, but it does stand out among emoji keyboard apps. The Cosmoji selection is very strong and all have that fun Cosmo theme, plus they have some excellent animations. All the icons and stickers are beautifully drawn and high quality. The app itself is straightforward to use, with you first needing to add it to your phone’s list of keyboards. There’s a guide for doing this in-app, so usability has definitely been considered for the less tech-savvy. From there, it’s just a case of switching keyboards. The icons are easy to find and select, though there is a slight downside in that you have to copy and paste the apps from the list to the message, unlike many keyboards which add them with one touch. Still, this is a minor gripe and the app is still easy to use overall.
Simple, useful and free
The Cosmojis selection is a little limited, but the icons you do get are high quality and of course they all fit the Cosmo theme and brand, so they cover anything a modern girl wants to say! Overall this is not a revolutionary app but it is great fun and free to try, so give it a whirl. If you ever felt that there were not enough emojis for wine, flirting and feminine fun, this is the app for you.
