Color blindness is a rare condition that affects the way colors are processed by the eye. It’s most common in people who are red-green colorblind. However, it can also occur in blue-green colorblind people, and the effect is more severe in this case.
There are two types of colorblindness:
1. Colored object: The affected eye can’t distinguish between different hues. This means that the person has a visual impairment, and his or her vision is limited to only a small portion of the color spectrum.
2. Color differentiation: The affected eye can differentiate some but not all hues.
What is the Colour Blindness Test?
This is a test for color blindness, based on the Farnsworth-Munsell 100 hue color test.
It consists of 4 colored trays and a visual acuity test. The first and last caps in each tray are anchored and can’t be changed. The test uses a visual acuity test to determine the severity of the colorblindness.
