Colorful Magic Review – A Simple Strategy Game With an Unlimited Number of Spells
Colorful Magic is a unique, fun, easy-to-use, game mod for The Elder Scrolls: The Elder Scrolls Mod that I’ve spent some time playing. It’s actually very similar to Skyward Sword, in that it features some great, high quality spells and fighting skills, as well as an interesting tutorial feature that shows you how to use them and spells – the same kind of tutorial system that you see in the Zelda games. However, the real difference here is that Colorful Magic comes packed with all sorts of cool spells and enemy units that are not only visually stunning, but also very tough, which is what really makes this game shine. They are both good, but Colorful Magic adds in many more items and units, when you opt for that particular option too.
This game mod definitely takes a lot of what made the original Zelda look so great and give it a huge boost. There are about three or four different types of spells, each with their own unique animations and special effects. Most of them also have a wide variety of effects that will help make your fight a little more colorful, while still retaining that classic feel that makes Zelda so beloved. On top of that, the unique spells and enemy units that you fight to have their own traits, such as being very quick or giving you a huge amount of hit points. You can also find some very powerful artifacts that can turn other less powerful units into much more powerful units, and that’s just icing on the cake.
However, the real strength of Colorful Magic is in its simplified edition. The color palette has been changed to make everything look much neater and more crisp, which eliminates a lot of the problems you might have had when using the old versions. The simplified edition also removes a lot of the annoyances that come along with some of the older games, such as seeing enemies through a transparent screen.
