Multitasking Made Easy
Admit it or not, we are not so new to the concept of multitasking. In fact, we love to multitask to get our jobs done in lesser time. However, multitasking in front of our computer means opening lots of windows to access your folders, which can be then baffling since you would have to switch between them every time. But worry no more—with Clover, you can open multiple folders within the same window. This utility application displays your folders in a browser-like tab to make your multitasking easier.
All in One Window
While Clover changes the way you view your opened folders, it does not change any functionality of your desktop computer. You can still access the default menus, the navigation, and preview pane, but you now have the option to open various tabs and display them in one window. Not only that, but you can also use Clover to create shortcuts for your frequently-used folders. Much like the bookmark manager that Google Chrome has, you can save and organize your folders in the app’s bookmarks bar. To add a new bookmark, all you need to do is right-click the tab or use the Control + D shortcut. You can also drag and drop the folder to the bookmarks bar.
To push its browser-like capabilities, Clover also can re-open a previously-closed tab. You only have to use the context menu or use the keyboard shortcut to do so. With this, you don’t have to flip through various disks and partitions to look for the folder that you opened and closed moments ago.
For added convenience, Clover supports various keyboard shortcuts, including Ctrl + T to open the page, Ctrl + W to close the page, and Ctrl + Tab to switch the tabs. Once downloaded, installed, and executed, Clover is completely integrated into the Window’s interface and works smoothly, effectively, and seamlessly.
More Convenience
Clover is already a huge help when it gives users a convenient way of navigating through various folders. However, the app’s offers do not stop there. Aside from bookmarking frequently-used folders, the app also lets you import bookmarks from HTML files and vice versa. Moreover, it also supports mouse control to toggle between tabs. For non-English users, Clover offers language switch options, which include French, Spanish, Dutch, Chinese, and Russian, among others.
Clover comes with a very easy-to-use interface which doesn’t look any different than your browser. You don’t have any new features to learn since your files are as manageable as they always have been. It requires insignificant resources and it is very fast in opening tabs. Users must note, however, that Clover does not intend to replace more complex file managers such as Total Commander and EF Commander. Its only purpose is to help you work faster and more efficient by adding tab support to your Windows Explorer.
Much Needed Modification
With all the works we usually need to do in our computers, apps like Clover can have a huge impact on our productivity. This modification allows users to easily manage files for more than one folder without opening a new window. It also saves desktop space—you won’t be needing an extra monitor to fit all of your opened folders. If you are looking to increase your productivity, this app is a good solution.
