Chesser – Bluetooth Chess Review
Chesser is a free-to-use Android application that allows you to play chess with another person via Bluetooth. The game interface is suitable for beginners and provides features such as pawn promotion, castling, and taking en-passant. The app is also ad-free and open-source with GPL license. You can save and load games, and there are two auto-saved games that can be used in case of any problem.
To use Chesser, make sure Bluetooth is turned on and the device is paired with your opponent’s device. You can host or join a game, and the hosting player has to open the server for the other player to choose the host’s device name from the list. Click on any of your pieces to see their possible moves, and click on any highlighted square to make your move, which is then sent automatically. You can also save, load, and delete games using the menu.
