Add Flare to your Backups

In a world of streaming media, DVDs and Blu Rays are becoming somewhat obsolete, but there is still a significant demand for writable compact discs in the world of home backups and media. CD DVD Cover Pro aims to make life easier for that market, allowing you to print labels and booklets to accompany your backups. You can bring your own photos into the design, add a variety of different text styles, including shadowed text, and generally create the design you want, personal to you. Finished projects can be exported as an image, saved as a document, or printed. Multiple CD labels can be printed on one sheet of paper.

Tricky to Line Up

CD DVD Cover Pro is a solid application, though not without flaws. The process of lining the design on screen up with your label paper is tricky, and does not always work. The tools available for designing the label are basic, and limit the potential of the final design. There is little template support and the “feature” of 1:1 screen size means that the window is not re-sizeable.
