In this custom add-on for the real-time strategy game Command & Conquer: Generals, bugs and glitches from the original game are fixed while gradually implementing upgrades to the visual effects. An unofficial remaster

Additionally, certain features are only available upon activating certain settings. Without their prerequisites, some features don’t work. The safest bet, still, is to turn the entirety of the mod since it’s optimized and shouldn’t be heavy on your system.

Overall, C&C Generals Mod is definitely a good addition to your Command & Conquer game experience, even providing enough incentive for you to revisit the classic strategy game. It works on everything graphics-related, from environment textures and shaders to additional shrubberies and rock formations, and even working on how water appears and behaves. The only drawback here is the complex pattern with which features work together. Still, it’s highly recommended.
