Falling down…
With Cavern Klämrisk, you control a basket as it plummets through the earth, trying to keep your passenger safely inside.
It’s a physics based game, and as you fall, your speed ever increasing, all you have to do is guide the basket left, right, forwards or backwards to avoid hitting the walls and tipping the ragdoll-like body out.
Graphically it looks quite cool, although it’s accompanied by some really awful music. Luckily this can be turned off. The aim is to get a high score for depth. The further you go the faster it gets, and unfortunately the game tends to slow a little making it even harder.
Despite the niggles, it has that “just one more go” factor, meaning you could easily waste your afternoon on it. The walls you have to avoid seem to be randomly generated, so there is an element of luck to it. It would be nice if there online scoreboards to make it more competitive.
Cavern Klämrisk is a fun game to play as a relaxing distraction (if you turn off the music).
