Tower defense and car wash simulator combo
Car Wash TD: Tower Defense is a premium strategy game by indie developer Adam Atamnia. It offers a unique blend of fast-paced tower defense gameplay and a car wash simulation experience. In it, players will face waves of vehicles, and they need to ensure each one that passes by is cleaned and spotless.
Combining the strategic gameplay of Plants vs. Zombies with the satisfying mechanics of PowerWash Simulator, Car Wash TD: Tower Defense has managed to offer a unique experience that few developers have done before. It somehow plays quite fast-paced, while still feeling calming and relaxing, all at the same time.
No dirt shall pass
In Car Wash TD: Tower Defense, you will be in charge of building and managing a car wash service line. What makes it different is how you go about the actual washing process, and this is where tower defense mechanics come in. Vehicles will come in continually moving waves, and you need to make sure you get to clean the dirt off them before they pass by.
You will put up power wash turrets capable of shooting out water streams at targets. Be aware of their limited firing range as you place them down to ensure you’re able to cover many vehicles efficiently. Speaking of, there are many different kinds of vessels coming your way, ranging from boats to planes, and even large boss ships that require more time to clean.
What’s more, this game gives you complete control over the flow of the waves coming at you. You can essentially build a maze with various obstacles to help slow down their march and give you more time to clean them. Sadly, the whole experience is short and will only last a few hours depending on how you play. The game definitely needs more content in future updates.
A steady stream
Car Wash TD: Tower Defense made a game out of two polarizing genres, yet it somehow works and is actually a lot of fun to play. It offers gameplay that is as relaxing as it is engaging, with various “enemies” to face and lets you get creative with how you approach every situation. It could use more levels and/or modes in future updates, though. Give this one a try.
