Highly addictive bubble shooting game
Bubble Shoot is a fun and very addictive big brotherAndroid puzzle game, which will keep you occupied for hours.
What’s the object of Bubble Shoot?
The format of Bubble Shoot is nothing new. You fire colored bubbles at a pack of hanging bubbles and must match three or more of the same color to make them disappear. The level is complete once all of the bubbles have been removed. To make things harder, the bubbles gradually move down from the top, meaning you must be quick to pop them all before they touch the ground.
While Bubble Shoot doesn’t stray from this time old mobile game format, it does its best to inject more excitement with the inclusion of power-ups and special bubbles. There are expanding bubbles, dye bubbles, exploding bubbles, different kinds of stones, and many more.
What’s it like to play?
There are two game modes in Bubble Shoot: Arcade mode, in which you need to clear all the descending bubbles; and puzzle mode, where you must use the limited bubbles to clear all the bubbles on screen. There are 180 different levels, and in each you have the chance to win one of three stars. There are also coins to collect in Arcade mode.
Be warned: Bubble Shoot can get very difficult after the first few levels. Sometimes it’s infuriating when you need just one particular color of ball and it never seems to come out of the ‘randomly’ generated bubble shooter.
How well is it presented?
Bubble Shoot looks great, with interesting backgrounds and vibrantly-colored balls. There’s even a colorblind mode to help those who may not otherwise distinguish the bubbles well.
The sound effects in Bubble Shoot are excellent, and the noises that play when you make high combos are very gratifying. The saloon-style music is fun to start with but soon gets annoying – luckily there’s an option to mute it.
All of this adds up to make Bubble Shoot a compelling and engrossing Android puzzle game, which will keep you playing until your battery runs out!
