Zombie Bridge Constructor spin-off game
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is a video game developed by ClockStone. As the name suggests, this game combines challenging puzzle gameplay with the zombie universe of The Walking Dead. In this zombie survival game, you fight hordes of undead walkers and a hostile human community by building bridges.
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is a spin-off game of the Bridge Constructor and uses the same mechanics as the original games. However, as this is set in a post-apocalyptic world, you will have to build bridges over rubble. You will also use your materials to build bait for the walkers.
Build bridges and beat zombies
Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead is a spin-off game for Bridge Constructor set in The Walking Dead universe. Your main objective is to guide all of the human survivors to a goal area while avoiding zombies. However, doing so requires a lot of ingenuity. You will have to build bridges over rubble using various materials. You will also build traps to kill the zombies that are after your party.
The basic construction aspects of the game are adapted from the original Bridge Constructor game. You will use wood, steel girders, and cables to craft bridges for either humans or vehicles to travel along. However, besides construction elements, you will also issue commands to the survivors. This is akin to programming AI on a very basic level. You can do so by choosing different nodes on the level maps.
The game features characters popularized by the TV series, including Daryll, Michonne, and Eugene. It also boasts ragdoll animations. However, it isn’t perfect with visuals as its notable downside. Sometimes, it has a generic environment, goofy-looking characters, and odd graphical glitches. The controls can be pretty clunky, too. The interface is also cumbersome and does not allow much player error. Finally, the levels are sometimes perplexing.
Is it worth it?
If you are a fan of the Bridge Constructor, you will likely find lots to love in Bridge Constructor: The Walking Dead. The game has familiar gameplay made more exciting by the addition of zombie walkers. It has loads of variety throughout, although mastering the stages takes time. Note, however, that it does not offer the smoothest experience. Its visuals are subpar, and its controls and interface are rather clunky.
