Bridge Builder Racer is a premium racing game for PC developed by Levi Buck. It incorporates elements of bridge construction, puzzle-solving, and racing into its gameplay. In it, players will need to create a bridge to cross the gap and reach the finish line on the other side.

Compared to racers like BeamNG.drive or bridge sims like Poly Bridge 2, Bridge Builder Racer takes a more casual and arcade-like approach to its gameplay. Players will need to think and plan how to best lay down a bridge to help their car reach the other side with limited resources.

Car meets bridge

Bridge simulators and racing games do not usually mix as they offer very different gameplay and mechanics. In this game, you’ll solve platforming puzzles that will require you to build a bridge to cross over to the other side with your car, with a  limited budget. Test it out by driving your vehicle to see if it will make the jump. Think about how you’ll place each section—the less money you spend, the higher your chance for the max three-star rating.

There are two game modes, more than 60 levels to solve, and a global leaderboard to compete for high scores with other players. You even have a built-in map editor and integration with Steam Workshop. It does lack some variety when it comes to the vehicle you’ll be driving as there is only one car available. Hopefully, more will be introduced in future updates.

Charming and deceptively simple

Overall, Bridge Builder Racer is a charming little game that anyone can enjoy playing. The controls are simple, and the mechanics are easy to learn, but the gameplay itself will be hard to master. It’s one of those titles that are both relaxing and engaging at the same time. If you’re looking for something a bit more chill, this is a great option to consider.
