Complete the rows to solve the puzzles
Brick Slider is a free puzzle game suitable for all ages. The task is to clear rows of blocks by sliding shapes into empty spaces. The more rows you clear, the bigger your score. Make full use of bonuses to win big.
As you might guess from the title, Brick Slider belongs to the genre of Tetris-inspired games, like Block Puzzle Jewel and Woodoku. Like all of the more inventive additions to this genre, it avoids imitating Tetris exactly and instead adds its own spin.
Slide the blocks
Brick Slider takes place on a chessboard-like grid. Once the game begins, a set of blocks will appear at the bottom. Some are small squares, while others are wider rectangles. The player’s job is to slide the blocks so that any gaps in the rows will be filled.
Not quite Tetris
The basic goal of filling in rows of blocks is very similar to Tetris, so anyone who has played that classic game will get a general idea. There is a crucial difference, however, in that the blocks do not fall. Instead, they need to be pushed left and right manually.
Clear multiple rows
Brick Slider awards additional points if you manage to clear multiple rows in one move. Every move you make, even if it does not clear a row, will make another row of blocks appear at the bottom. If you are lucky, the new row will be formed in a way so as to be cleared automatically.
Magnets, bombs and more
As you play, you will encounter magnets, bombs and other elements that help to separate Brick Slider from other puzzle games. Anybody who enjoys time-passing puzzle titles — but wants something other than a typical Tetris clone — might find something to enjoy in this simple but inventive title.
