Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima is a demo of the popular video game that calculates your brain age based on a test of memorization skill.
The Nintendo DS phenomenon that is Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima is finally coming to a PC near you. This, along with other similar logic games, are supposed to train your brain or gauge your intellectual capacities. This is a short example of what you can find in the game.
Th Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima demo features six rounds of something called Tracking, where you have to memorize the position of some numbers, which are then hidden. You’re then asked to select them in ascending order. There’s a time limit of 45 seconds for the whole demo, so it’s quite short. Once you’ve finished, your brain age will be calculated, using your correct answers and the time you used to answer.
While the Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima demo is short, it gives you an idea of the kind of tasks you’ll be asked to complete in Brain Exercise. It’s based on short exercises that you can do every day to improve your mental skills. There is no evidence Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima can make you more intelligent, but it can’t hurt to flex your logic muscles regularly!
Anyone who enjoys puzzles will no doubt like Brain Exercise with Dr. Kawashima, but it would have been nice if the demo had more examples of the gameplay.
