Get a Strike in Virtual Reality
Bowling VR brings a perennial all star in motion controller gaming world to Windows. Enjoy the fun of ten pin bowling as though you were in an real bowling alley.
Just Like the Real Thing
Bowling VR does exactly what it say in the title. It makes use of the Windows Mixed Reality platform to put you in a virtual bowling alley, where you can knock down pins to your heart’s content. Either by yourself or with friends. The bowling physics are solid, and as long as you enjoy bowling, you’ll enjoy Bowling VR. The graphics are nice, however the alley itself has a bit of an unfinished feel to it—as though the developers were going for a complete and detailed alley but had to stop short. There isn’t much in the way of game modes to keep you playing, unfortunately. It’s straight forward bowling only. You can play with up to four friends, however, which obviously adds a lot to the experience, and makes this game ideal for parties.
Fun to Play, Could Use More Content
Bowling VR is fun, and the social aspect of playing with friends is very appealing. It would be nice if there were more game modes available, and perhaps richer game environment to play in.
