Limit the Period Apps Have Access to Your Phone
Bouncer is an app that lets you grant permissions to apps on your phone temporarily. If you want to a take a picture or tag a location but do not want the app to have access permanently or whenever it wants, Bouncer would be of assistance.
Removes Permission Instantly
Right after you quit an app, Bouncer would automatically remove permissions instantly for you so you may go about your day without worrying about third-party apps eating into your phone’s battery or invading your privacy. Bouncer is made to work with one-time permissions and even for permissions that apps need to work in the background. However, with continuous app usage, those apps would show up in the foreground quite often.
Working Mechanism
Bouncer incorporates an accessibility service that gets activated after you provide permission and gives you the choice to remove it. After you exit the specific app that has the permission and go to the home screen of your device, Bouncer would open the settings of that app and take the permission away quickly. Bouncer doesn’t need any permission to do its job, which makes it quite trustworthy. It cannot view app-specific information. It only accesses ‘settings’ on your phone so that it could turn off permissions. And even if Bouncer ends up accessing data that it shouldn’t, it cannot transmit it anywhere as it doesn’t have Internet permission.
