Simple and difficult retro shoot ’em up

BlockShooter is a pixelated shoot ’em up, where you control a circle, that has to shoot blocks!

This is an incredibly simple game that is actually designed to make you lose. Blocks fly around the screen, and have to be either shot or avoided. On the right of the screen is a mass of glowing blocks that grow as the game progresses: These can be cut back by being shot, as you continue to avoid all the other blocks.

What makes BlockShooter an interesting game is that the better you do, the harder it gets. Like classic arcade games, BlockShooter will eventually get you, you cannot beat it. The controls are simple, just the arrow keys plus space to shoot. As a simple high score chaser, BlockShooter is a fun diversion, but it’s single screen and brutal difficulty mean it won’t last long!

BlockShooter starts of hard and gets harder, then calls you a failure for losing! This is one for the hardcore shooter masochists!
