Conquer the map with your squad
Battlefield™ Mobile is a free action mobile video game that lets you experience the heat of modern-day warfare. Primarily developed by Industrial Toys and published by Electronic Arts, this 3D first-person shooter game is part of the popular Battlefield™ game franchise and features all of the classic gameplay mechanics it’s known for.
Similar to Call of Duty: Mobile, Battlefield™ Mobile is a standalone game and will be completely different from previous games in terms of execution. It is currently limited in content due to its Early Play Testing phase but it has enough to keep players engaged with its online multiplayer.
A popular FPS series
Battlefield is a series of first-person shooter video games developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. First released in 2002, this series has become a huge international success and spawned numerous installments with its gameplay focus on large maps, player and NPC teamwork, and vehicle warfare. The PC games, in particular, mainly focuses on online multiplayer gameplay, which makes this series one of the most popular FPS around.
Battlefield™ Mobile is its first mobile title and retains certain main features that fans love best about the franchise. For one, it offers the same online multiplayer experience, but this time it’s free-to-play and has cosmetic items and in-game purchases that are common among free mobile games. Take note, however, that this means you can’t do offline play as it requires a persistent internet connection to work.
Just like other FPS mobile games, you can choose from four classes for your character: Assault, Support, Medic, and Recon. The battles are squad-based so you have to team up and strategize with other players. You can play on the Grand Bazaar map from previous games and experience the classic Conquest mode on mobile. However, unlike the other titles, cross-play isn’t available here.
For mobile game fans
All in all, Battlefield™ Mobile is a great experience for fans of the series who want to play while on the go. It’s also a great way to introduce the series to players who prefer free-to-play titles. While it can’t interact with players from other versions and platforms and requires a stable internet connection, the classic gameplay and features it brings back still make it an enjoyable game.
