Bass Unlimited: A Comprehensive Workbook for E-Bass

Bass Unlimited is an accompanying app for the comprehensive workbook for E-Bass by Andy Mayerl, published by Edition Dux. The app features over 100 exercises and grooves presented in high-quality audio. These exercises are accompanied by drums to help the user practice and improve their skills. The app has two sections: “Playing with Paper” and “Free Play with Drums.” The former section includes exercises and grooves played on electric bass and accompanied by drums, while the latter functions as a drum machine for playful practicing and grooving. The app also includes a feature to adjust the tempo of the drum accompaniment in five different speed steps.

The app’s interface is straightforward, with a Nummern– and Spin-Button to select an exercise from the book and a Start/Stop-Button to control the preset loop function. The user can also adjust the tempo of the drum accompaniment using the Tempo-Button. The Bass-Spur can be muted to allow the user to play along. Bass Unlimited is a free app available for Android devices.
