A strategy RPG game set in a developing community
Aurora Dusk: Steam Age is a strategy RPG game in which players work in a collaborative fashion in a sandbox world. The game allows players to build things within the world, with an impetus on building strong defenses to keep the player and their companions safe.
The building and exploration aspect of this game is similar to games like Starbound and Terraria, though this game is played from a top-down perspective.
Sandbox exploration in a growing community
Aurora Dusk: Steam Age is a collaborative experience in which the player helps their community to grow and develop. Players will achieve their goals by exploring, resource gathering, and building. There are many types of buildings to construct, such as workshops, houses, turrets, and more. In total, the player will have 62 buildings to work on.
Different game modes
The game comes with 50 different maps to play and explore, as well as some options for how the game can be played. The most obvious of those modes is survival, in which the player must find resources and defend against hostile enemies. There is also skirmish mode, where the player does battle with up to 10 villagers.
Be part of a community
For players who enjoy the social element of sandbox games, Aurora Dusk: Steam Age may be a good option if those players don’t want to play online, as there is no online option. Some players have noted that the community aspect is somewhat stunted due to a lack of shared resources, but the sandbox and exploration aspects of the game may still make it worth a play.
