Play God in this JRPG Sequel

Explore the world of Asdivine once more in this role-playing game. Asdivine Dios, the sequel to the Asdivine series will give you a classic JRPG gaming with turn-based battles. This game will have you following the story of Izaiyo, the deity of Asdivine himself, as he wound his way to save the world he created. With a voluminous story with an expansive world, this game will challenge you to create your story and see how far you will go to protect your world. It promises an all-inclusive RPG experience with limitless enemies and loot and even bosses that will blow your mind.

A Sequel that Is Not a Sequel

Asdivine Dios is a sequel to the Asdivine franchise made by Exe Create and published by KEMCO. But, even if you are not familiar with the previous titles, there is no need to worry. There is little relevance to the previous projects, such as Asdivine Hearts, so there is no problem playing this game. In fact, this game resembles Revenant Saga more than Asdivine Heart.

Sure, the game features the Asdivine world and uses 2D gameplay engine, but it changes the game system that it does not feel like a sequel at all. Gone are the gem system used to customize characters as well as the wit and charm that players have come to love in Asdivine Hearts. If you think this would be a proper sequel, you will be disappointed.

But, if you can let those expectations go, then you will find that this game has enjoyable RPG elements paired with a couple of fresh ideas. Firstly, you will be playing as the main deity instead of a simple country orphan which KEMCO games are known for. Izaiyo, along with a party of women, will go along in an adventure to save the world and take back what was rightfully his. An interesting spin on the usual divine test story.

The general progression is no different from the classic RPGs, but the battle system plays straight, and encounters are random and turn-based. More so, the game has got an enjoyable and competent cast of characters. It also didn’t hurt that the game presents these characters in a cool, Japanese anime-style.
