Free post-apocalyptic horror game
Apocalypse Rising Roblox is a free survival horror game by Gusmanak set in a post-apocalyptic world. It’s loosely based on a similar horror game called DayZ that also features a large open world with zombies. Other horror and adventure games to enjoy on the gaming platform include Poppy Playtime, Zombie High School and F.E.A.R.
You start with a bag on your back with only a few basic items for survival. Like 7 Days to Die on PC, you’ll need to find more resources and craft weapons to kill the undead. Some excellent features that make the game stand out from others are the day/knight cycle, weapon collection, and hunger and thirst meters.
Surviving the apocalypse
As far as horror survival games go on Roblox, few are as extensive and detailed as Apocalypse Rising Rolox. Your avatar only has a few items in the beginning, and you’ll need to find more if you want to survive. Zombies are hidden in the post-apocalyptic world. They hunger to feed on you, which means you’ll need to remain out of site.
Finding and crafting items
The main objective of Apocalypse Rising Roblox is to find items lying around in homes and on streets that can help you. You have health, food, and water meters that you need to keep as full as possible. Once these deplete, you’re going to meet your untimely demise. You can also craft weapons and items with the resources you obtain.
Realistic features
The game is so advanced that there’s a day/night cycle in it. The night is more dangerous, as you may not see the zombies coming for you before it’s too late. Also, you need to find food and water to stay alive, which you don’t really find in many games these days.
Staying alive
Apocalypse Rising Roblox is an incredible horror game that keeps you on your toes. Even watching the developer explain the game in a video is interesting, as you get to hear the thinking that went into different aspects.
The best part is the exploration and finding new buildings and weapons. With many areas to explore, the only part that will send chills down your spine is wondering when you’ll find the next zombie.
