Tune your instrument electronically
I have a guitar, yet being completely tone deaf makes playing the thing quite a challenging hobby for me. Although I’m fine once I’m playing the chords, I find it difficult to tune it because I can’t regonise the notes.
I have an electronic tuner but I found that AP Tuner worked much better for me because of the sheer amount of options it presents you with, such as the ability to view and listen to a graph of musical notes and a library of sounds that can be customised by the user.
The program can detect all audible tones and is accurate to within 0. 1 cents. I found the interface pretty straightforward to navigate, although the lack of a decent glossary means it can be tricky if you aren’t well-versed in musical terminology.
Fixed a minor Windows layout issue where the user activates a window by clicking the inside of the window instead of the titlebar–the Harmonic Graph would not rise to the front of the screen

AP Tuner is a full feature chromatic tuner for your PC. The tuner is responsive and accurate (~0. 1 cents). The detection algorithm has been improved to better find low and inharmonic notes.
