Resident protection against keyloggers
Keyloggers are nasty little infections that work by recording the keystrokes made on your computer. Obviously, these keystrokes correspond to important information, and if this information gets into the wrong hands, it would be a disaster – the wrongdoer would have his or her hands on your passwords, pin codes and intimate details.
Anti Keylogger Shield aims to prevent this by disabling the mechanisms that keyloggers use to retrieve this information. Once you install it, you’ll notice that the program interface is very basic. You can open a help file, minimize the program or exit – that’s it! Once it is installed, you’ll minimize Anti Keylogger Shield to the taskbar where it will stay, protecting your computer from any keylogging attacks.
The problem with programs like Anti Keylogger Shield is that it is very difficult to know if they are having an effect. It is even harder when the program has no configuration options at all! Even still, Anti Keylogger Shield is very discreet and places a relatively small burden on your system resources. For this reason, many users will download it, given that it could help and probably isn’t doing any harm. It would be easy to feel like you have no control over the program, however, something that will undoubtedly put many off prospective users of Anti Keylogger Shield.
It’s hard to know if it’s working, but hopefully Anti Keylogger Shield provides effective protection against keyloggers.
