Free livestream app for South American channels
Antena TV is a free multimedia mobile app that allows you to watch free live international TV channels. Developed by SEPUOS LABS, this app offers video streams of various free TV channels across the world and lets you access them without much trouble. It has an easy-to-use interface—however, its language is split between English and Spanish programming and there aren’t any app settings. Plus, it often suffers from buffering issues.
User-friendly
Antena TV is similar to other TV live-streaming apps regarding its basic features. You can access a whopping 400 free channels from various countries, with the bulk of them coming from South America. The categories are a wide variety, as well—from live sports to drama shows to news. This is basically an alternative online TV app for anyone interested in South American television. It also doesn’t have any ads aside from the channel commercials.
The app’s interface is pretty straightforward. The main menu will immediately display a live feed screen on the top half to showcase currently-airing shows you can check out—although they don’t actually play and you still have to tap on them to start watching. The lower half is the list of channels the app offers, which you can scroll through. These are divided by their country and region, as well as their category.
The top-left button will open up a left-side panel containing other sections: Home, Channel List, and Favorite List. The Channel List will just display all channels in one long list. Meanwhile, you can share and like the app below these sections on the panel and check its version. Unfortunately, there are no settings at all. The built-in video player doesn’t have any either and will just let you pause, play, and skip the videos.
At no cost
All in all, Antena TV isn’t a great option if you’re looking for a more comprehensive live-stream app. While it isn’t too difficult to operate, it doesn’t offer settings that most users will want to tinker with, even in the video player. Additionally, it often doesn’t load the live feed and tends to buffer whenever you select a new channel. It’s free, though, so those who want to watch international channels can easily test this out.
