Find and rescue all of the captured letters

Alphabet Lord – Letter Rescue is a free game of top-down action set in a cartoon world in which all of the characters are walking and talking letters. Rescue the captured letters within the time limit, but avoid the monster.

The game features the same letter characters seen in titles like Merge Alphabet 2D Fusion Fight and Alphabet Combine Merge Master. However, the purpose is not educational, but the alphabet theme adds a nice touch of cartoonish wackiness.

Free the captive letters from prison

Alphabet Lord – Letter Rescue puts the player in control of a letter character who belongs to a large team consisting of other letter characters. The task for each player is to find captive letters, open their cages, and carry them to a safe space. Once all are rescued, the level is complete. You’ll face opposition from giant monster letters.

Using stealth to succeed

The game has an element of stealth to it. By pushing a button in the bottom right of the screen, you can make your letter hide inside a cardboard box. Doing this will protect them from the rampaging monster. The downside is that boxed characters move more slowly, which can be fatal since the game has a time limit.

Unlock more missions

Each time you win a round, you’ll be given a diamond. You can spend diamonds to unlock new missions. Although, be aware that these are not as varied as they might look. For example, the second mission has you retrieving objects instead of letters. Still, the basic gameplay remains exactly the same.

Appropriate for children

Despite the letter theme, this is not an educational app for small kids. It is likely to be of particular interest to children, but older players might find the gameplay too simplistic and repetitive to sustain their interest.
