A Look at Some Of The New textures For Mass Effect 2
A lot of Textures (ALOT for ME2 Mod) is an improvement of the original Mass Effect series ( ME2, Mass Effect 3.) It will give players a chance to get back to those “awesome” days when playing the first games on the original Xbox. It is a visually overhauled version of all three games: ME1, ME2 and the new “idium” series. There is no doubt that this is yet another step forward in improving the graphics of BioWare’s best-selling RPG series. But what are the details concerning this new addition?
A lot of Textures ( ALOT for ME2 Mod} features all new high resolution textures, and many of them will be exclusive to this version of Mass Effect. In fact, all the textures were taken from the vanilla game, but at higher resolutions. That way you will be getting the real stuff, the same quality that can be found on the shelves, only at a much higher resolution. All the “bling” and “sparkle” was extracted from the vanilla games as well.
There are some specific places where the new textures are useful. For example, one area in the desert contains a high resolution creeperlava with a glow effect, much better than the low resolution versions. There is also a place in the game called the Cauldron where there is a large spider protruding from the wall that has a high resolution texture surrounding it. The spider is actually an aesthetic feature of this part of the facility, giving you a good view of what’s going on.
