A casual relaxing puzzle game involving a mischievous cat – enjoy organizing stuff!
A Little to the Left is a casual puzzle game in which the player sorts and organizes regular household items into various arrangements, all the while keeping an eye out for a mischievous cat who will mess up the area that the player has been tidying up if given a chance to do so.
The game features a whimsical hand-drawn art style, much like Hollow Knight, but with a tone and theme more like ilomilo. The game also incorporates photographic imagery in some of the puzzles.
Keeping things tidy
A Little to the Left is essentially a game about keeping a home tidy. The player is presented with various messes to tidy up, such as a row of bottles that fit together in a particular way or stacks of cans that need rearranging, but the player can only move the top can of a given stack. Many of the puzzles have more than one possible solution.
A mischievous cat
While A Little to the Left is mostly a relaxing, casual game, there is a chaotic element in the form of a mischievous cat. The cat will appear at random points and try to mess up the area that the player has been tidying up. The player can attempt to stop the cat if they are quick enough, or they will have to start the tidying process all over again.
A casual experience
A Little to the Left is a casual experience with puzzles that are slightly challenging but not especially difficult. The atmospheric sound design and cozy art style make the game a pleasant experience, but the puzzles will not be particularly challenging to more experienced puzzle game players. The game also promises to deliver a unique puzzle each day in the form the “The Daily Tidy Delivery.”
