Remastered graphic user interface modification

A GUI Mod for BioShock: Remastered is a free GUI modification. Designed for Bioshock Remastered, the edition launched in 2016. This GUI Mod was first released in 2019 to address some of the game’s graphics issues.

Version 1.4, the latest addition to this GUI Mod line-up, doesn’t introduce any new content or graphics. Instead, it repositions some of the existing graphics with minor changes. For instance, it fixes some of the misalignments in the game’s GUI. It boasts a total of 10 GUI fixes developed by chaos7040 and published with art by The Sketching Rat.

Is Version 1.4 the most recent BioShock Remastered GUI Mod?

Launched at the end of 2022, version 1.4 of this GUI Mod is slated as a possible precursor to future updates. Much like the client-side GUI Mods of first-person shooters (FPSs) like Left 4 Dead and Battlefield 3, BioShock’s GUIs keep coming.

What recentering fixes are there in A GUI Mod?

Version 1.4 recenters lettering in loot pick-up graphics, buttons, and alarm timer digits. It extends subtitle backgrounds, realigns loading screens, and fits the hacking meter image to the gauge screen.

Are there any placement fixes in A GUI Mod?

This GUI Mod for BioShock Remastered also places money counters inside vending machine graphics and stops their headers from moving when they light up. Finally, it corrects radio and audio diary playback backgrounds and covers a small line of pixels on the research camera frame.

A GUI Mod with an eclectic list of fixes

For a free client-side GUI Mod, this latest version featuring 10 GUI Mod fixes is anything but dull. However, there are GUI Mods out there with a more comprehensive list of fixes that apply to more than one localization.
