Share backup copies online with your friends

Zoogmo is a backup utility tool that uses your friends’ computers in order to offer you a free online service to make backup copies of your most important files.

In a way, Zoogmo works like a social network that connects its users and lets them share a common backup space. While this backup concept is quite innovative, I see one main drawback: you really need to know at least another person who uses Zoogmo because I wouldn’t dare store my files on the computer of someone I don’t really know. On the other hand, Zoogmo is a great tool for sharing files between two computers of your own, located at different places.

Zoogmo is quite easy to use. Once logged in with your registration details, the program scans your system for “files that are commonly backed up” (funny! How does he know what I want to back up?) and then prompts you to add some contacts (“partners”) prior to starting any backup job. Like I said, if you don’t anybody else who’s using the program, you don’t really know where to start. If you do, it may prove to be a good – and cheap – backup solution.

Create backup copies on your friends’ computers over the Internet for free.

Shouldn’t you decide where your precious data will be backed up?

With Zoogmo you get FREE unlimited backup that automatically runs in the background and lets you protect your data at multiple remote locations that YOU choose.

You can backup to as many computers as you like – your own or your trusted friends’.

All files are fully encrypted before they leave your computer so only you know what you are backing up.

Zoogmo turns spare disc space into a backup community – backup meets social networking.
