WOW Legion Companion – Not Just Another Unnecessary Add-On

With a name like WOW Legion Companion, you may be forgiven for thinking this is another cheesy third-party app that is trying to rinse money from WOW fans, a little like the many third party apps that rinse money from Pokémon Go fans, but this is a genuine WOW app made by Blizzard, who are the World of Warcraft creators and developers. What’s more, the app is free and very highly rated. The app allows you to track your quest progress and prepare for future missions.

A Great WOW Legion Companion

The aptly named app allows you to make the most of your game on your iOS device. View your emissary bounties and your active world quests via the app. See what rewards you are working towards, or that you are a due, and plan your next adventure in the game. When you have a few minutes spare where you do not have time to play the game itself, you can check the app and plan which quests you are going to undertake when you do get time to play the game.

The mission control function allows you to take a look at what missions may be available to your character within your Class Order Hall, and while you are there, you may get the missions started. If you have already done the footwork while playing WOW, you may complete the mission in a way that almost feels as if you are tying up loose ends, and you may collect your rewards for them.

Manage Your Progress Without Playing WOW

Upgrade the gear of your followers, manage them like a military chief, and recruit new troops to help you complete missions later on when you actually sit down and play the game properly. While using the WOW Legion Companion app, you may take a look at your Order Hall tech tree, you may track the status of your tech tree, and you may even conduct research. Small things like this will help you achieve more outside of the game so that you have less work to do in the game.

You are able to see the world map and navigate your way around to view updated world quests. Send out your champions to complete missions and earn rewards, view your champion’s stats and equip them with suitable gear. The graphics are only two dimensional with a few three-dimensionally rendered characters. There is no need for groundbreaking graphics because this is a management app and not an actual game; nevertheless, the design work is typically WOW, which means it is typically good.

Conclusion: You need this!

The app is certainly worth having, especially if you are a WOW fan. There is no negative side to having it, especially since it is free. The reason the app is not more highly rated on the Internet is because it still has bugs and a few problems. For example, it will not remember your sound preferences after each use, you have to shut it down manually because you cannot from within the app, and you cannot change the language options prior to playing and/or maintain a permanent language setting.

Despite these small problems, there is really no reason why every WOW fan shouldn’t have this app.
