Play sounds through your audio device demo

Soundpad is a media player developed by Leppsoft, which allows users to play sounds through audio devices and into voice chats. Users can also benefit from a practical in-app audio recorder and editor to record and create sounds. Users can then output these sounds in high quality to a variety of communication apps and games.

Soundpad is available free as a demo version. However, if the app doesn’t have the functionalities you need, you can try All-in-One Voice Changer to alter your voice reactively or Easy audio mixer for deeper audio editing functionality.

How can you use Soundpad?

Soundpad’s core functionality revolves around being able to inject sounds directly into voice chats. In essence, the application acts as a soundboard, allowing you to string audio files together and play them with the click of a customized hotkey. While you can use the app to create your audio clips for other use, it shines with its implementation into communication tools

The integrated audio editor quickly allows you to chop up audio clips to the desired length, and even play around with compiling multiple sounds to make something unique. Volume integration also allows audio clip volume to equalize with your voice, meaning you won’t deafen anyone on the other end of the call.

Once downloaded, you can install the app quickly. The app auto defaults to your system’s recording device, which is usually your microphone. Take note that, as with numerous applications that extend your core audio drivers, you will need to restart your system for the app to function correctly.

An unfortunate oversight is that the app requires you to deactivate windows audio DRM validation, which means you cannot watch DRM-protected content. Despite having an audio equalizer, many users have reported that the app will continue to play audio without responding to on-app level changes.

What apps work with Soundpad?

Leppsoft provides a prominent list of voice-related applications that Soundpad can use, including communication tools like Discord, Teamspeak, Skype, and also games such as Dota 2, Counter-Strike, PUBG, and Battle.net.

While not explicitly expanded upon, Leppsoft notes that Soundpad ‘works in any voice-related application‘, indicating that if you don’t see the app you want to use it for above, it will likely be configurable with the voice app that you’re using.

Soundpad’s demo version & Steam version

While Soundpad will work with most voice-related applications, Leppsoft provides a free trial version to download and try. You can use the demo version to test whether or not Soundpad works on your computer, as various audio configurations could cause issues with the app.

Similarly, users can find a version of Soundpad on Steam, which houses the same performance and specifications, including the trial version.

Putting Soundpad into practice

There are many ways to use Soundpad, most notably to entertain other users in a voice call. Gamers use this app to provide fun and engaging quotes and sounds as responses to in-game events. Many YouTubers also use sound injections to record their content and play sounds for in-game pranks & replicating an in-game character’s voice.

Outside of this, users can make use of the app simply for its audio editing capabilities. The built-in audio editor is extensive enough to chop sound bites together to create something that you want to share with others. Don’t forget about the recording feature, which enables you to record any sound coming through your microphone, providing additional benefits for quick audio recording. Finally, the quick selection via hotkeys allows seamless integration without drawing your attention off-screen to play each sound.

Creating dynamic voice chats

Soundpad aims to provide a straightforward app that allows you to record, edit and use sound files, which it does effectively. You can download and begin using Soundpad in minutes after a quick restart of your PC.

While the product requires purchasing, Leppsoft has provided a free functional demo to allow its users to try the application, to give a glimpse into what is possible with the app. If you need an easy-to-use app that allows you to inject sound clips into any of your in-game voice chats, then Soundpad will provide the required functionality.
