Co-op roguelite game for PC

Darksburg is a premium action game for PC made by developer Shiro Games. It is an isometric roguelike game that is designed around co-op gameplay. In it, players will need to work together in order to escape a city that has been invaded and overrun by the undead.

Similar to other games like Streets of Rogue or Gunfire Reborn, Darksburg is a roguelike that encourages teamwork and communication to overcome the odds. Players can choose from multiple character classes each with their own unique skills and abilities that contribute in battle and to suit their preferred playstyles.

Welcome to Darksburg

Darksburg is a co-op roguelike that is set in the titular city of Darksburg, a quaint medieval city that happens to be infested by the undead. Your only recourse is to escape with your life and take out as many enemies as you can. Luckily, you’re not alone, but you must work together with your fellow survivors to increase your chances of survival and getting out alive.

There are five survivors to choose from in the game. They feature distinct appearances and unique skills they bring to the fight. You will go through four levels and countless undead to escape the city, with each one having a set of objectives that you need to complete to proceed. Every time you level up, you get three random perks to pick from and create a build for your runs.

You can also earn gold that you can use to purchase items from the shop to help you in your runs like potions and explosives. One notable thing about the game is its thin content. The lack of a more expanded campaign or additional modes mean the gameplay can get repetitive and feel same-y relatively quickly. There is very little replayability to be had with it.

Not enough

In summary, there are plenty of things to like in Darksburg. The art style is distinct, the combat is fun and challenging, and its co-op-focused gameplay means you’ll get more out of it if you play it with friends. However, there’s just not enough content to make the experience and the appeal last that long. Hopefully, more content gets added in the future.
