A new way to share photos between phones and tablets
FotoSwipe provides a really quick and easy way to share photos with another (Android or iOS) phone or tablet.
Don’t keep it to yourself
Once you have installed FotoSwipe (on both devices), enable location, open the app, tap and hold the image, and then swipe your finger from one phone screen to the next to send the photo to the other device. The app mirrors the way your photos are organized in your phone’s gallery. For example, if you want to send a photo from a specific folder, you can easily find it in FotoSwipe. But you do have to launch the app to share photos; you can’t share directly from your camera.
One advantage is that the phones don’t have to be side-by-side, but can be a few meters apart, although you do have to be connected via either WiFi or 3G.
Share as much as you like
It took me a few tries to pick up the FotoSwipe technique and it wasn’t 100% reliable, but it is a simple process. It’s also much quicker and easier than sending multiple photos via text or WhatsApp. You don’t even have to have the other person’s phone number.
Transfer over Wi-Fi only takes a few seconds and you can move up to ten photos at the same time. There is no limit to how many times you can swipe.
One of a kind
FotoSwipe is a unique app that could transform the way we share photos.
