Special Forces Group shooter sequel

Special Forces Group 3: Beta is a free action game for mobile devices coming from developer ForgeGames. It is the latest entry to the popular MMO first-person shooter series, Special Forces Group. It introduces improved visuals, as well as a new progression system and additional character customization options.

Compared to the previous Special Forces Group 2 game, Special Forces Group 3: Beta build upon the solid combat of its predecessor while improving various aspects like better gun mechanics and more maps to choose from. There’s still the offline mode to help players practices and get used to the gameplay.

PvP shootout goodness

Special Forces Group (SFG) takes cues from the Counter-Strike franchise for its design and gameplay to offer a similar experience to gamers. Each iteration brings improvements and new aspects that does things a bit better than the classics, and the latest Special Forces Group 3: Beta, provides players with combat that is as diverse and engaging as it has ever been.

From the get-go, this game brings improved visuals and a new menu system. With the option of playing in offline or online multiplayer mode, there are nine game modes to choose from to engage in eight-versus-eight shootouts between counter-terrorists and guerillas. They are complemented by improved and more realistic gun mechanics for better realism and feedback when firing off your guns.

Speaking of which, there are more than 40 guns across seven weapons types to choose from and three armor vests for added protection. This, in addition to more character models and a whole slew of skins, allow you to personalize yourself in all types of ways. However, the presence of cheaters can ruin your multiplayer experience. Depending on your device’s model and specs, the game can lag.

Better across the board

If you’re a long-time fan of the SFG series and look forward to playing each new release, the latest Special Forces Group 3: Beta is simply better across the board. From the visuals to the gameplay and additional content, there is a lot on offer here. While it’s not a final release just yet, it’s already quite good and warrants a try. Highly recommended.
